Essential when you start a discovery
An opaque access cookie connects this browser to a server-side draft. It is HttpOnly and host-only. It contains no discovery answer text and expires with the draft.
- Analytics preference
Your optional-analytics choice · up to 90 days
The service remembers whether you allow or decline optional counts. A pending withdrawal remains off while server cleanup is retried.
- Analytics access
Optional; created after permission
An opaque HttpOnly cookie connects allowed category and stage events to a consented tracking session. Its expiry follows the retention period shown in preferences. A revoked access cookie may remain until expiry for safe cleanup or retry; it does not permit further collection.
- Development customer sign-in
Essential when using the labelled local test sign-in; at most one hour
An encrypted, HttpOnly, host-only cookie identifies the configured synthetic test session. Its expiry cannot exceed the test identity expiry. It contains no discovery answer text and is not a production customer login.
- Pending workspace save
Essential during an explicit workspace-save choice; at most 30 minutes
An encrypted, HttpOnly, host-only cookie preserves the exact review and destination choice so an interrupted save can be retried without creating another record. Reading its status does not renew or replace it.
Essential functionality
The discovery cookie is used when you request the save-and-resume feature. Without it, the service cannot reliably reopen the anonymous draft in this browser. The current development retention is 30 days; the journey displays the actual expiry date. Deleting a cookie loses this browser’s access but does not itself instruct the server to delete a record.
Use Delete this draft in discovery to request withdrawal of the current anonymous draft. Signing in to a separate customer or administration service may require additional essential authentication cookies; those services must disclose their own active storage.
Optional analytics
Analytics is disabled by default. When available, the website asks before creating an optional tracking session or recording category and stage events. No third-party advertising, cross-site marketing pixel or third-party analytics script is included in the current public implementation.
The analytics feature receives category and stage identifiers rather than full URLs, search parameters, discovery answers, names or email addresses. The current development retention setting is 30 days; the enabled preference panel states the applicable period.
Manage your choices
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to allow optional analytics, keep it off or withdraw permission. Refusing it leaves public content and discovery available. Withdrawal stops collection; a confirmation distinguishes completed removal from a server cleanup that still needs a retry.
You can also inspect or remove cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent save-and-resume functionality. Browser settings and analytics permission are separate: removing browser storage does not automatically send a withdrawal request to the server.
